Webinar: recommendations for European Works Councils through Covid-19 and Brexit

Covid-19 and Brexit have far reaching implications on the world of work. Within transnational corporations, established structures for information and consultation of worker representatives are notably heavily impacted.

Together with the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI), UNI Europa held two webinar sessions on recommendations for worker representatives within transnational corporations respectively on Brexit and on Covid-19. The two hour-long sessions provide concrete examples of best practice at each different step on the two topics and are presented by Bruno Demaitre (ETUI) and Annika Flaten (UNI Europa). The video recordings of the session are available below.

The two sessions followed the publication of joint recommendations by the European Trade Union Federations on both Covid-19 and on Brexit. The joint recommendations highlights both the need for action and practical guidance as to how to push things forward.
