Due Diligence
The tug of war over the EU’s human rights due diligence directive is in full swing. One of the big elements of contention is the carve out clauses for the finance sector, contained in the current draft. For us, this flies in the face of the ambition behind legislative initiative.
In a bid to give additional visibility to the implications of such carve outs, Oliver Roethig has penned an opinion piece titled Setting human-rights due diligence back on track.
