Telecom social partners UNI Europa and ETNO promoting diversity and digital skills.
On 18 February 2020, the telecom social partners UNI Europa and ETNO kicked off a new project on digital upskilling and diversity. The objective of the new DUFA! Project is to find upskilling pathways targeting especially women and the older workforce in the ICT sector. Combining key concerns of the sector – diversity, gender balance and the skills shortage – this EU funded project is a novelty. During the next two years, the telecom social partners will collect best practice initiatives and will organize several events to identify how the access to upskilling can be improved for the two target groups and beyond, and how the ICT sector can be more inclusive.
