Improving occupational health and safety in the Hairdressing sector through social dialogue

UNI Europa and Coiffure EU have added an entry to the Occupational Safety and Health Wiki titled Improving the Occupational Health and Safety in the Hairdressing sector – A long-term commitment from the EU sectoral social dialogue stakeholders.

OSHwiki has been developed by EU-OSHA, to enable the sharing of occupational safety and health (OSH) knowledge, information and best practices, in order to support government, industry and employee organisations in ensuring safety and health at the workplace. The OSH Wiki article summarises the ongoing efforts by the European social partners to pursue the implementation of the agreed upon with the EU Commission services Action Plan aimed at deriving better protection and occupational health and safety prevention in the hairdressing sector in line with the ongoing Action Plan implementation. The OSH Wiki also lists the achieved deliverables in the Action Plan implementation thus far and will be regularly updated with developments and Policy initiatives in the sector.
