We are proud to have supported the workers in their struggle and will continue to advocate for workers’ rights and fair treatment in the workplace,” Ben Parton, Head of ICTS for UNI Global Union.
The strike, which began on November 16, 2022, was resolved on March 31, 2023, with employees of Crnogorski Telekom receiving compensation for the period they were on strike. The Trade Union of Telekom of Montenegro expressed gratitude for the fraternal support received during the struggle from UNI Global and the alliance One Trade Union (OTU) and hopes that the results of the strike will inspire further improvements in labor and trade union rights.
