We are shaping EU law and policy so that it strengthens collective bargaining at national level.

Forward through collective bargaining

UNI Europa amplifies the voice of services workers, the largest part of Europe’s workforce, in EU policymaking.
Our aim is first of all get the EU to change course and actively promote collective bargaining.
On this page you can find UNI Europa’s position papers on several EU files as well as EU policy updates and briefings and our main flagship campaigns.
Strengthening collective bargaining is what our public procurement campaign “No public contracts for companies without collective agreements”, that we launched at Conference with a digital action, is about.
Also our Amazon campaign to “Make Amazon Pay its workers” is also a pivotal step to end the social dumping and union busting behaviors within the biggest player in the services sector.
The overarching policy priorities are set out in the Brussels Resolutions from 27-29 April 2021 in the 5th UNI Europa Conference.
